Welcome to ARHAMP

The Applied Research in the Health and Adaptation of Minority Populations (ARHAMP) lab investigates:

    • The impact of adverse experiences on mental health and on health-risk behaviors such as tobacco, alcohol, and substance use.

    • The factors that can help the individual cope with the stress induced by these experiences, and

    • Socioeconomic and cultural disparities in concomitant behaviors that influence long-term health.
